Elocution Competition

TOPIC:-To Save Girl Child,Educate Girl Child.

The ‘save girl child,educate girl child’ scheme,which seeks to address gender imbalance and discrimination against the girl child, was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.This is the fourth major scheme of the government.Through this scheme government urge the people with open hands to save the lives of the girl child and also administered them an oath to fight female foeticide,celebrate the birth of a girl child and educate them.


The Elocution Competition was conducted in our school on 10-8-2015 Monday in third and fourth period. Students of std 6 to 10th participated in this competition.The students were assembled in ground and were sitting class wise.The competition started with prayer by yogini mam.Then Nidhi mam hosted the programme by introducing the topic of the competition and one by one called the students to say about the topic ‘save girl child,educate girl child’.The students explained the importance and giving the education to the girl child in their speech.Their efforts and hardwork in their thoughts were highly motivational.The confidence with which they spoke was appreciable.They told about saving girl chil,educating girl child,women empowerment etc. They also told about a girl being equal to boy and to motivate them in our society.Then a inspirational speech by our principal mam that we should respect our mother,sister,teacher and motivate classmate was educational to the students on how they should implement this topic in their lives and also few words from vipul sir thought the students the importance of women.The programme ended with all the students and teachers and principal mam taking an oath to of saving,educating and respecting a girl.Then in the fifth period essay writing competition was conducted inside the class room on this topic where the students put their thoughts beautifully on the paper.


The students got know the importance of a girl child and also got motivated in implementing the oath of saving,educating and respecting a girl.
